Be Responsible
An engaged establishment
Our guesthouse is fully committed to an ecological and sustainable development approach. We are dedicated to preserving the exceptional nature that surrounds us while supporting the local population.
Sustainable renovation
We have made efforts to minimize our environmental impact. We renovated our site by reusing as many existing materials and furniture as possible and then using sustainable and environmentally friendly materials. Our new bungalows are made entirely of wood and ravinala, traditional and renewable materials.
Local employment
We have hired staff from our neighbourhood and the village of Dzamandzar, which contributes to the local economy and allows residents to benefit directly from tourism.
Pure, free and responsible water
To take care of your health while preserving the environment, our hotel offers you a sustainable alternative. We provide you free of charge with exceptionally pure osmosis water, filtered directly on-site. It is offered to you freshly bottled in reusable glass bottles, available at the hotel bar as well as directly in the refrigerator for rooms that are equipped with one. A healthy approach for you, and a concrete step to reduce our ecological footprint. Of course, our service remains at your disposal should you prefer to order classic bottled mineral water.
Eco-responsible and locally sourced cleaning
The upkeep of our hotel — from laundering your household linen to the dishwashing liquid in our kitchen — is carried out with eco-responsibly manufactured products made right here on the island of Nosy Be. This local approach extends to your bathroom, where we provide handcrafted island soaps. By choosing these biodegradable solutions, we directly support the economy and producers of Nosy Be, while reducing the transport of imported goods and preserving the purity of our island's waters.
Our participation
We are committed to donating 1€ (5000 ar) per client who has stayed at Tsara Beach to the Nosy Be dog shelter, located at the Pépinière de Lys. This direct donation helps fund food, veterinary care and the well-being of rescued dogs.
