Our guesthouse is fully committed to an ecological and sustainable development approach. We are dedicated to preserving the exceptional nature that surrounds us while supporting the local population.
Sustainable renovation
We have made efforts to minimize our environmental impact. We renovated our site by reusing as many existing materials and furniture as possible and then using sustainable and environmentally friendly materials.
Solar energy
The solar panels allow us to recharge our backup batteries and thus cope with power outages without using fossil energy. We reduce our carbon footprint and contribute to the preservation of Nosy Be's fragile ecosystem.
Water saving
We have installed Ecol'Eau kits, water savers, in our bungalows and facilities to reduce our water consumption.
Our daily commitments
We have established an organic vegetable garden and compost on-site, allowing us to grow some of our own herbs, fruits, and vegetables.
All our linen is OEKO TEX Standard 100 certified, ensuring there are no toxic substances for the body or the environment.
Our showers are equipped with Homeopharma products, a local health/wellness brand: aloe shower gel.
Local employment
We have hired staff from our neighbourhood and the village of Dzamandzar, which contributes to the local economy and allows residents to benefit directly from tourism.
Our participation
We are committed to donating 1€ (5000 ar) per client who has stayed at Tsara Beach to the Orangea elementary school, where the majority of the neighbourhood's children are educated. This money will be used to purchase school supplies.
